Joint Youth Committee (JYC)

Joint Youth Committee (JYC) was established in June 2000 and consists of youth representatives from churches across the United Kingdom. The Committee aims to unify the efforts of general youth ministry across the UK by facilitating communication and co-ordination at the youth level between the churches.

JYC provides joint spiritual and social service for Coptic youth at a general level through the co-ordination of the efforts of youth servants nationally, and alongside each church’s localised service.

The long term aim of JYC is to strengthen the bond of unity amongst youth, so that they can work together and support each other in all aspects of their lives, playing a more prominent role as constructive, integral members of their Church, and society.
